Late Night at Nichols," the LAN Party co-sponsored by the MIS Club was a
great success! Over 50 students showed up to compete in network video
games or play the virtual guitar connected to the projection screen. We
sold $90 worth of raffle tickets to win computer-oriented prizes. The
event afforded us a fantastic marketing opportunity with the prizes,
banner advertisements, and high visibility for our MIS Club Information

Open House is right around the corner. On April 8th, students and family
members will be coming to visit the MIS Club`s Open House in Calvin
317. We will have baseball card templates on the computer for kids and
students to render their information onto and then take a picture that
will also be inserted onto the card. This will then be printed for the
student or kid to take home with them. Open House is a great way to
interact with students that are interested in the MIS major in the
future. Saturday will be a great way to get to know soon-to-be MIS
