On August 28th, the MIS Club had a great showing in attendance for its first meeting with KOCH Industries. Justin, who works in the IT department, talked to us about his projects that he has done over the past few years with the company. He showed the MIS Club students a brief slide-show of a project that the interns at KOCH got to be involved with.
Cerner will be coming to talk with the MIS Club at our next meeting on September 11th. The meeting will be held in Union room 209 at 7:00 pm. Remember that attending meetings will give you a better chance at the end of the semester’s $1,000 prize. Also, the MIS Club is still finalizing the due date to turn in scholarship applications. We will let you know as soon as possible when that date is.
