| The Kansas State University Management Information Systems (MIS) Club invites you to our annual Career Fair Social. This event provides you an occasion for more personal interaction with employers seeking interns and full-time hires with MIS degrees. We will have a session from 6:30-7:30 for all students looking for an internship and a full-time position session from 7:30-9. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Attention Web Developers - The Division of Continuing Education is seeking students to assist with the maintenance of the division`s Web site. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated individuals, who work well in a team setting. Must be able to meet frequent deadlines and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong (X)HTML, CSS, and Web accessibility skills are preferred. CGI (PERL), PHP, JavaScript, Flash and graphic design experience a plus. Preference will go to candidates who can commit to at least 15 hours of work per week, can work during the summer and breaks, and can commit to at least one year of employment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-life experience assisting with the design, development, and maintenance of a large-scale Web site. Starting wage is $6.50/ hour.
