MIS Club Announcements
Monday January 19th the MIS Club will hold its first member meeting of the year in the Big XII room of the Student Union. Representatives from Deloitte will be presenting. The dates and descriptions for the rest of the meetings can be found at www.ksumisclub.com. Attending any MIS Club meeting this semester will earn members raffle tickets. Other ways of earning tickets include bringing new members to the club, applying for scholarships, working on projects, or serving on a committee. While everyone can win the $250 prize only the top five raffle ticket holders are eligible for the $750 prize. For the students who want cash but don’t want to leave it up to luck, MIS club is again giving away two $1000 scholarships to active club members that excel in the classroom.

The first MIS Club Olympics is scheduled for Feb. 12th and April 23rd. Any K-State student currently taking an MIS course can represent their course in competition. Courses will compete in Bowling on Feb. 12th and Pool on April 23rd. Participants can compete in one or both events. Alumni who would like to compete can participate on the alumni team. E-mail misclub@ksu.edu to signup and it is first come first serve.

MIS Club would like to congratulate the MIS students that excelled in last semester’s Cerner Corporation competitions.
