| Hello, my name is Kurt Haberstroh and I am a senior in MIS. I am working for ConocoPhillips this summer as a GIS intern in the Performance Services Group. This group is responsible for all major projects that go through the company. The most interesting thing about my work this summer is that I am doing a function I never realized was part of MIS. There are some technical aspects of my job, but mainly I have been creating processes to receive customer feedback from our projects. Also I have been writing programs that will track project cost and schedule status monthly by pulling data from several databases and compiling it into an excel spreadsheet. It has been a very busy summer for me and besides the enjoyable work I am doing, there are numerous activities that ConocoPhillips provides for us. There is hardly ever a dull moment.
